Momo Blanket - Indigo and Ecru Description: These organic, pigment-dyed blankets are made from a blend of cotton and the wool of locally raised sheep from the Western highlands in Guatemala. Each blanket is handmade by K'iche' Mayan artisans on traditional wood looms. We source these beautiful blankets from co-operatives in the high mountain villages of Momostenango. This Momo blanket is approximately 56 x 76 inches.
Momo Indigo Rug Description: These flat woven rugs are handmade in Momostenango, a small town in the highlands of Guatemala. They are made from 50% organic wool and 50% cotton and are naturally dyed. This rug measures 5’ x 8’. Also available in 7' x 10'.
Mayan Heirloom Pillow Description: Pillows are repurposed from vintage Mayan "HUIPILES" which translates to "blouses". Huipil (pronounced weepeel) textiles are backstrap woven and beautifully hand embroidered. Sourced from indigenous markets in Guatemala, each pattern identifies its origin from a specific village. The 100% cotton backings are foot loomed by Mayan weavers and selected to create one of a kind accent pillows. Size – 12.5 x 26 inches
